This week finds us with Cassie and Brian from BODY OF WORK, with Cassie giving the sweet-talking hero her thoughts on romance…

“You have something against romance?” he asked.

“Yes, actually, I do. Romance is dangerous. And when you talk to me that way, I want more days like this. Making dinner together and endless sex and other dangerously romantic stuff. I am a woman, you know.”

His head lifted enough for her to see the twinkle in his eyes. “Oh, I did notice — though I’m always up for a refresher course of that fact.”

Intriguing snippet – would be curious what Cassie defines as “Romance” and learn what Brian’s definition is. Nice dialogue definitely advances character/personality reveal.
